Founded in 1989, Siam Motors Parts Co., Ltd., a Siam Motors Group company, started as a distributor of KYB shock absorbers, Exedy clutches and RIK piston rings. From its inception to the present, we have dedicated ourselves to contantly developing quality products and after-sale services. We believe that by doing so, we put ourselves in the best position to enhance consumer's confidence and satisfaction, as quality product coupled with an attractive price will draw consumer's attention to superlative value.

SMP was orginally formed as a unit of Siam Motors Co., Ltd., one of the founding institutions of Thailand’s automotive industry. As the auto parts business rapidly grew, Siam Motors created a number of internal divisions to handle parts distribution later merging them to form the Spare Parts Division. Subsequent rapid growth in the auto parts sector led to the spin-off of the Spare Parts Division. On March 11, 1989, the resulting entity was incorporated as Siam Motors Parts Co., Ltd. (SMP), with the mandate of fulfilling customer needs as extensively and comprehensively as possible. Initially, SMP served as the distributor of KYB shock absorbers, Exedy clutches and RIK piston rigns.
Today SMP continues to maintian high consumer confidence in both the public and private sectors with a superb reputation for product quality and service.

RESPONSIBILITY

As a socially reponsible company, SMP is committed to three main causes: environmental protection, community service and road safety. We are a long time patron of the Think Earth Project. Inspired by the words of his father Siam Motors founder Dr. Thavon Phornprapha, “Whenever you make profit, you must give back to society.” Dr. Phonthep Phonprapha, the project’s fouding director, established Think Earth, based on the concepts of social resposibility and safeguarding of the environment. From the very beginning, SMP has played an active role in helping to cultivate environmental awareness and responsiblity.

Doing our part for the community, SMP provides school supplies to needy children through various charities. WE also donate computers, classroom supplies and materials to schools and provide scholarships to students in need on a regular basis.

We also support the Department of Land Transport compaigns against drunk driving, which promote safe driving habits and reduction of road accidents, with the ultimate goals of fostering public happiness and better quality of life for everyone.
